Travel itinerary:

DAY 1. BEIJING

Arrive in Beijing. Beijing, the capital of China, is a huge city and the political center of China. Its history goes back more than three thousand years, being capital of the last three feudal dynasties, installed in the so-called Forbidden City. In it and its surroundings, we will find essential places to visit, from the largest square in the world, ancestral temples, Imperial Palaces and of course the Great Wall of China.

Pick up at the Beijing airport by our correspondent. Immigration procedures and baggage collection.

Transfer to the hotel. EARLY CHECKIN INCLUDED WITH BREAKFAST.
Free morning to rest at the hotel.

Immediately afterwards we will start a scenic tour of Beijing to make a first contact with the city. Visit to the Confucius Temple, the second largest temple in the country. Originally built in the year 1302, it contains a good number of trees, among which stands out a well-known cypress in Chinese folklore, which is known to all generations. Next, we will visit Beihai Park, a beautiful imperial garden that was opened to the public in 1925. In addition to the huge lake and lush nature, the site has several traditional pavilions and some temples of great beauty.

DAY 2. BEIJING

Breakfast.

Visit to Tian’anmen Square, the largest Plaza in the World, with more than 440,000 m2. In it is among others, Government buildings and the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong.

Walk along the Old Qianmen Street full of traditional buildings that combine the best of the ancient East and the modern West.

Visit to the Forbidden City, also known as the Imperial Palace that occupies an area of 720,000 m2 and has more than 9,000 rooms.

Lunch.

Today we will know the production and production of jewelry with the famous Chinese Natural Pearls.

Visit to the Temple of Heaven, a place of prayer for the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties to pray to heaven for good harvests and rains.

DAY 3. BEIJING

Breakfast.

Excursion to the Great Wall of China (Badaling), World Heritage Monument with a length of 6,700 kilometers, extending from the border with Korea to the Gobi Desert.

DAY 4. BEIJING / XIAN

Arrival in Xi’an. It is the oldest city in China, and one of the cradles of the Universal civilization. In its three thousand years of history it has been the capital of 12 dynasties. Two centuries before Homer wrote the Iliad and the Odyssey (and the foundation of Rome), and five centuries before the rise of Buddhism, Xi’an already deserved the title of city of the classical world. This city was the origin of the Famous Silk Road, which is why it has traces of different cultures that came to it.

DAY 5. XIAN

Breakfast.

Visit to the Old City Wall. The Wall of Xi’an has a rectangular perimeter of 14 km, a height of 12 meters and its width varies between 15 and 18 meters. It is the best preserved wall in China, built by the Ming dynasty in the 14th century on the ancient forbidden city of the Tang dynasty, having reached our days in its entirety.

Lunch.

Visit to the Muslim Quarter. Located in the historical center of the city, within the walled enclosure, owes its creation to the settlement of the Hui community that professes Islamism, and of the cultural union generated by the Silk Road.

Visit to the Great Mosque. It is one of the largest mosques in China, built by the Tang dynasty in the year 742. It draws attention to its mixture between Chinese temple and traditional mosque.

DAY 6. XIAN / SHANGHAI

Breakfast.

Visit to the Museum of the Terracotta Warriors. It is the Imperial Tomb of Qin Shi Huang that occupies 8 square kilometers of surface. The Emperor ordered the creation of an army made of life-sized terracotta figures to accompany and protect him in the afterlife. To date, some 8,000 warriors have been unearthed, all of them different, with their weapons and in combat disposition. It is one of the most imposing World Heritage Monuments in the world.

Visit an oven to observe the manufacture of the famous Terracotta Figures.

Lunch.

Visit to the Oca Mayor Pagoda (Without entering). This pagoda is located in what had been the temple of the Great Motherly Grace, south of Xi’an. It was built around 648 by Emperor Gaozong (of the Tang dynasty), when he was still a prince, in memory of his late mother. The complex that is observed at the moment dates from the Qing dynasty and was erected in Ming style.

Transfer to the airport to take the FLIGHT to Shanghai.

Arrival in Shanghai. Divided into two parts by the Huangpu River, it has several totally differentiated areas, the old Shanghai with origin around the year 1074, the colonial city developed around the Malecón; and the modern and cosmopolitan area of ​​Pudong, with some of the tallest skyscrapers in the world.

DAY 7. SHANGHAI

Visit to the Jade Buddha Temple, built at the beginning of the 20th century to house the 2 white jade Buddha statues brought from Burma by the monk Hui Gen.

Visit Yuyuan Garden. It is located in the center of the old city surrounded by a wall. It was built in the 16th century as a family garden in the south of the country.

Lunch.

Visit to know the process of making the authentic Natural Silk. Silk is a raw material for many everyday items that includes dresses, blankets, quilts, etc.

Walk along the Bund or Malecon from which you can observe the colonial buildings and have an impressive view of the Pudong skyscrapers.

DAY 8. SHANGHAI / SPAIN

Visit to the ancient town of Zhu Jia Jiao, built on the waters, whose history goes back more than 1700 years. We will visit its canals in a boat observing its old houses, stone bridges and picturesque streets.

Return to Shanghai.
