Travel itinerary:

DAY 1: CITY OF ORIGIN / LIMA

Arrival in the city of Lima. Assistance and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 2: LIMA / CHICLAYO

Breakfast. In the morning, we will walk through the main streets, squares and avenues of the city. We will start with the Parque del Amor in Miraflores, with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. Then, we will have a panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana, ceremonial center of the Lima culture. We will continue to the Plaza de Armas, where we will find the Government Palace and the Municipal Palace. We will visit the Cathedral and walk to the Convent of Santo Domingo, whose corridors were traveled by San Martín de Porres and Santa Rosa de Lima in the seventeenth century and where their remains now lie. Lunch.

In the afternoon, visit to the Larco Museum, an 18th century mansion built on a 7th century pre-Columbian pyramid. DAY 3: CHICLAYO

Breakfast. We will visit the Valley of Las Pirámides in Túcume, an impressive urban center, the most important of its time, located only 33 km away. of Chiclayo; the legend of the God Naylamp and the queen Cetemi, coming from the sea still animates to the settlers. Lunch in restaurant.

Excursion visiting the magnificent adobe platform of Huaca Rajada, where the world-famous Lord of Sipán was discovered. We will enter the museum where all the findings of the warrior priest found in tomb 14 are exhibited.

DAY 4: CHICLAYO / TRUJILLO

Breakfast. We will visit the Museum of the Royal Tombs of Sipán, also known as the Museum of the 21st Century. It was built simulating the original tomb and houses treasures in gold, silver and precious stones of unique beauty. A visit impossible to forget. Lunch in restaurant.

Then, private transfer to Trujillo. They are a couple of hours walk enjoying beautiful valleys, when you reach the sugar plantation Casa Grande we will turn aside to know La Huaca de El Brujo, named for the polychrome friezes of its walls, in the surroundings we will see a huge cemetery pre-Inca yet to be discovered. We will visit the Museum of the Lady of Cao where the mummy of the same name stands out, possible ruler of the Moche Culture discovered a few years ago. Arrive and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 5: TRUJILLO

Breakfast. We will begin our visit to the valley of Moche, we will be welcomed by a traditional family descended from the ancient Mochica settlers. Then, we will visit the impressive Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the center of power in the Trujillo Valley during the Moche times. We will observe the amazing group of frescoes in adobe in one of the walls of the Temple of the Moon, unearthed by the archeologists, ending we will be able to appreciate several artifacts and tombs of the Mochica culture in the museum of Huacas de Moche site, which shows different utensils and ceramic of high artistic level, we will continue visiting the temple Arco Iris (Dragon), of the Chimú culture, we will arrive at Huanchaco, ancestral fishermen’s cove where the old boats called “Caballitos de Totora” will be appreciated, with which the millenary tradition of artisanal fishing. Then, we will continue towards Chan Chan citadel. We will enter the Nik-An Palace, located in the southwestern part of Chan Chan, visiting its ceremonial plazas, shrines, reservoirs, granaries, cemeteries, etc. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel in Trujillo.

DAY 6: TRUJILLO / HUARAZ

Breakfast. Transfer in private mobility to Huaraz via Sechin, during the journey we will pass through the cultivation fields of agroindustrial companies such as Camposol, Damper, among others since this area belongs to the agro industrial project Chavimochic, and where the asparagus, artichoke and aji paprika among other export products, we will arrive at the port of Chimbote where fishing is the main activity that takes place in the area with the production of fishmeal, we continue the journey and passengers will enjoy a box lunch during their journey .

Arrival at Sechin museum, where we will find pieces from this archaeological zone, walls carved in stone with anthropomorphic figures of felines and humans with themes of sacrifices.

DAY 7: HUARAZ / CHAVÍN

Breakfast. Transfer to Chavín. Visit to the most representative Ceremonial center of the High Peruvian Culture, with more than 3,000 years old, considered the first Peruvian high culture. Here we will appreciate its monumental architecture, with sunken squares and underground galleries, the fine lithic art highlighting the “Lanzón de Chavín”, the “Estelas”, with anthropo-zoomorphic representations. Highlights include the “Portada de las Falcónidas” with its columns and cornices and the “Cabezas Clavas” that surrounded the Templo Mayor.

DAY 8: HUARAZ / LIMA

Breakfast. Transfer in private mobility to Lima. Upon arrival assistance and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 9: LIMA / CUZCO

Breakfast. Early departure in flight from Lima to Cuzco. Tomorrow to rest.

In the afternoon, exclusive tour of the city that begins with a visit to the Plaza de San Cristóbal to enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Then, we will visit the Market of San Pedro, where we will know the local flavor and more closely the products of the area, in this market that has it all and is the main center of supplies of the city. We will continue towards the Koricancha Temple that receives us with all its magnificence; Recinto de Oro is its name in Quechua and its lavishness is still felt in those walls that were once completely covered in gold. DAY 10: CUSCO

Breakfast. We will get away from the crowds to visit Sacsayhuamán, an impressive ceremonial fortress full of colossal constructions surrounded by beautiful landscapes in total communion with the environment. Then, we continue to the Inca shrine of Qenqo, ancient Puma temple where you can see an altar for sacrifices on the inside of a huge rock. Finally we reach the watchtower of Puca Pucará and Tambomachay, a monument of remarkable architectural excellence, considered one of the pillars of the Andean cosmovision.

DAY 11: CUSCO / SACRED VALLEY

Breakfast. The Sacred Valley of the Incas receives us this day. On the way we will stop at Awanacancha, a complex where we will meet and feed Andean camelids such as llamas and alpacas, and local people will show us their techniques of weaving and dyeing traditional textiles. We will then arrive at the traditional Pisac Market, where we will have free time to visit it and buy handicrafts, if you are encouraged to try something traditional, stop by the wood-fired bread ovens and empanadas. We will have lunch in a restaurant in the area. In the afternoon, we will continue to Ollantaytambo, a picturesque town that has been continuously inhabited since Inca times, where we will visit the temple of the same name, used as a fortress during the Inca resistance and from where we will obtain collection images. DAY 12: SACRED VALLEY / MACHU PICCHU

Breakfast. We will go to the train station of Ollantaytambo, from where we will depart by train to meet one of the 7 Wonders of the World. We will arrive at Aguas Calientes station, where our staff will assist us to board the transport that will ascend an intricate road giving us a spectacular view of the Urubamba River that gives shape to the famous canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will welcome us with its incredible terraces, stairways, ceremonial precincts and urban areas. The energy emanating from all over the place. After a guided tour, we will have lunch at one of the restaurants in the area. We will stay at one of the hotels in Aguas Calientes. Dinner.

DAY 13: MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO

Breakfast. Free morning. Tickets for Machu Picchu are limited, we recommend making the ticket request for later days at the time of booking the program and thus avoid congestion or lack of availability locally. In an additional visit to Machu Picchu we can visit sectors such as Intipunku or Puerta del Sol, the entrance to the citadel of the Inca Trail. For those who wish a more intense adventure visiting the Huayna Picchu, it should be considered that there are only 400 daily quotas for promotions, which must be previously reserved.

DAY 14: CUSCO / LIMA
